SAN ANTONIO -- An arrest document released Friday afternoon details the events that surrounded the murder of Balcones Heights police officer Julian Pesina on May 4, including a curios detail that possibly connects the officer to the Texas Mexican Mafia.

Surveillance video confirmed Pesina was killed by two shooters outside of a tattoo shop on Hillcrest Drive, but investigators are now looking into how those individuals knew Pesina.

According to court documents, cellphone records indicate that Jerry Idrogo, the man arrested Friday for Pesina's murder, was the last person to call the officer's phone before he was shot dead. Cell tower information allegedly places Idrogo at the scene of the murder. Police believe he was the driver of the getaway car.

Deputies said, as they were carrying out a search warrant at Idrogo's residence, they found Pesina's name, address, phone number and nickname written in a ledger titled, 'North Roster.' Investigators said the names of several people known to be associated with the Texas Mexican Mafia were also jotted down on the roster.
