SAN ANTONIO — Arson is investigating after a home under some type of construction catches fire of the southwest side of town early Sunday morning.
San Antonio firefighters got to the scene on the 5900 block of Kim Valley Drive near Old Pearsall Road just after midnight.
Crews tell us flames were shooting through the roof when they arrived, but thankfully, they were able to contain it in under 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
Officials say that nobody was in the home when the fire broke out. The house did sustain some moderate damage.
The home was undergoing some type of construction and it unclear if that's a possible cause.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
