Officials in Bexar County searching for missing man last seen leaving for work

His roommate said Gonzalez was last seen on October 14 when he stated he was leaving for work and has not been seen since that day.

SAN ANTONIO — Officials in Bexar County are asking for your help finding a missing man who left for work on the north side of town and has not been seen since.

Jose Matias Gonzalez, 61, is 5'11" tall, weighs about 210 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, jeans and black shoes, driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue with Texas license plate #THG4520, near the 3700 block of Bennington Way. His roommate said Gonzalez was last seen on October 14 when he stated he was leaving for work and has not been seen since that day.

Gonzalez’s belongings were left at the residence and he has been unreachable by phone.
