Missing woman last seen at used car dealership on northwest side found safe, family says

SAN ANTONIO — Family members of a previously missing 45-year-old woman announced on Facebook that she was found safe Saturday morning.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a missing woman who was last seen at a used car dealership on the northwest side more than a week ago. 

Heather Lee Adkins, 45, was reportedly last seen on Thursday, June 27 at the J.D. Byrider Auto Center on Bandera Road around 8:30 a.m., according to BCSO. 

Adkins was wearing an aqua top, shorts, sneakers and typically wears prescription glasses. She is approximately 5-foot-6 with dark blonde and grey hair, hazel eyes, and weighs about 225 pounds. 

According to BCSO, Adkins has a scar over her left eye, a blue rose tattoo on her left calf with multiple names on it, a Libra tattoo on her right foot and a flower tattoo on her left foot. 

Authorities said Adkins may be driving a blue Nissan Rogue with an unknown license plate.
