BEAUMONT, Texas — There's a happy update to a story 12News first reported on in October 2023. Months after being robbed a teenage Beaumont business owner is proving he's cut out for success.
Last year thieves stole thousands of dollars in lawn equipment from 16-year-old Joaquin "Quinn" Devarona's work trailer. They thieves took everything that was essential to his lawncare business.
"It does make me sick that, you know, I worked four years for it, and it got taken in 30 minutes," Devarona said.
Now thanks to tremendous help from the Southeast Texas community Devarona says All-4-U Lawncare has been thriving for the past five months and has no plans to stop anytime soon.

Devarona says he received an outpouring of donations and support from the community. He's grateful to have been blessed with brand new equipment and financial support that will give his career the boost it needs.
According to Devarona, after filing a police report he only got some of his stolen equipment back.
"I got my Scag zero turn back, it was found in Vidor. My Stihl BR 600 blower and that's it. All the serial codes were scratched off. Everything else was not recovered," Devarona told 12News.
However, not all hope was lost. Just days after 12News reported that Devarona's equipment was stolen Beaumont Tractor Company stepped in.
The company donated all brand new equipment to All-4-U.
"They did a great job, Mr. Craig especially, they just got me back in business in the same exact week," said Devarona.
Thanks to the overwhelming donation, he now has an upgraded mower, two weed eaters, a brand new blower and much more.
"...I'm telling you, I can't be more appreciative of what they've done," Devarona said.
Devarona's rejuvenated business is going on three years strong now and today he's back out from dawn to dusk cutting lawns around Beaumont.
"I usually do about five to seven a day. Weekly, I'd say about 15 to 20. And on my rush weeks, I have anywhere from 30-35," he said.
Devarona wants to continue pursuing his savvy entrepreneurship endeavors long into adulthood.
"I would say landscaping and lawncare would be my main venture. It's going to be one of those things where I take it and I run with it for as long as I possibly can. I would love to jump into construction at one point and learn how to do hard landscaping," he told 12News.
With his new trailer, new equipment and new contracts, Devarona is ready to take his business to new heights.
"Thank you everyone for what y'all have done and what you have given to me. Y'all have made my dreams come true. And I wouldn't be where I'm at if it wasn't for y'all," Devarona thanked the community.
Devarona says he's looking to add workers to All-4-U Lawn and Landscape. He's available five days a week to serve the lawn care needs of Southeast Texans.
