Bexar County Sheriff's deputy fired after domestic violence accusations

Officials say she was arrested in Comal County, but she has since posted bond and been released.

SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar County Sheriff's deputy was terminated after she was arrested and charged with domestic violence, authorities said.

Toni Ramirez is charged with assault causing bodily injury. Officials say she was arrested in Comal County, but she has since posted bond and been released.

Ramirez has been with BCSO for less than one year. She was issued a dishonorable discharge because of the arrest and officials say she is not eligible for rehire.

The agency did not give details on what led up to the arrest.
