SAN ANTONIO — Stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Lord of the Rings Trilogy will headline the Big Texas Comicon coming to San Antonio in October.
This is the fifth year of the Big Texas Comicon, which will take place Oct/11-13 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
Daredevil star Charlie Cox will appear Saturday, Oct. 12 along with his cast mate, Jon Bernthal. Bernthal is also known fo rhis roles in the Walking Dead, Netflix's the Punisher and FX's the Bear.
Other appearances at the comicon include Lord of the Rings trilogy’s Elijah Wood and Sean Astin, and Blue Clues hosts Steve Burns, Josh De La Cruz, and Donovan Patton. Additional guests include Cobra Kai’s Xolo Maridueña, Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand, Mayans M.C.’s JD Pardo, the Harry Potter series’ Bonnie Wright, the voice of Ahsoka Tano Ashley Eckstein.
Event organizers say more guests could be added to the lineup as we get closer to October.
The comicon offers professional photo opportunities with the stars attending the event, as well as autographs and cell phone selfies when available.
Tickets start at $35 for a day pass for the event. Professional photo opportunities range from $50-$100 and autographs range from $30-$80.
The event will also include panel discussion where guests can ask the celebrities questions. You can also shop at dozens of unique vendor and artist booths on the main comicon floor.
