Body found in flooded creek south of downtown, police say

​Officers were called out to the 1000 block of Nogalitos at the San Pedro Creek.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Park Police are investigating after a body was found in a creek just south of a downtown Monday morning.

Officers were called out to the 1000 block of Nogalitos at the San Pedro Creek around 11:30 a.m.. A body was found on the south bank of the creek bed. 

Police say the body had no visible trauma and was found in a creek that flooded late Sunday night and early Monday morning. Police said it is not known if the flood is what caused the person's death.
