One of the many unique community events in Central Texas has announced the theme for this year’s festivities.
The Buda Lions Club announced that “Wonder Wiener” is the theme for the 21st annual Buda Wiener Dog Races, which will be held at Buda City Park.
The event takes place April 28 and 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with races beginning at 10 a.m. Free parking is available in the west lot of Cabela’s, with a shuttle to the festivities.
In addition to the wiener dog races, the pet-friendly event includes arts and craft vendors, a bake-off, games for kids, food booths, a BBQ cook-off and Live Music. All proceeds go to the Buda Lions Club.
