Bullard man accused of delivering meth with toddler inside vehicle arrested

Torgerson told investigators he had driven from Smith County with the 2-year-old in the car to deliver the suspected meth in Henderson County.

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — A Bullard man accused of delivering meth with a toddler inside his car was arrested Monday night. 

According to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Brandon Torgerson, 30, was stopped by two deputies inside the Sunrise Shores Subdivision just after 8 p.m. while driving a gold Chevrolet SUV. He had a small 2-year-old child in the vehicle. 

Deputies found suspected methamphetamine in two different bags packaged for sale along with a digital scale and marijuana. Torgerson told investigators he had driven from Smith County with the 2-year-old in the car to deliver the suspected meth in Henderson County, according to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office. 

He was booked into the Henderson County Jail on charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and abandoning or endangering a child, the HCSO said. 

Records show he was released on Tuesday on bonds totaling $125,000.
