COMAL Co. -- The tight-knit community of Bulverde is reeling from the loss of a well-liked mother of two small children.
Her family and friends want answers to help explain how she died.
On Monday night, Pamela Bailey posted on Facebook that she'd be walking to a new bar on Blanco Road in Bulverde.
It would be the last post she ever made. She was killed in a hit and run.
"That's all I can think about is who did it to her? Just come forward, just say you did it," said Amber Cantu, Bailey's friend.
Cantu said she grew up with Bailey and went to school with her. Their children are now close friends.
Cantu described Bailey as an adoring mother, a loving person, and beloved in her community, where she worked as an H-E-B cashier.
"She was our happy person," said Cantu. "She'd come in the house and everybody knew 'oh lord, Pam's here.'"
Bailey leaves behind a 3 year old son and a 7 year old daughter.
"She was a wonderful mother, just all about her kids, anytime her daughter sneezed wrong: 'are you ok?'" said Cantu. "Her children, her family deserves justice, deserves to know what happened to her, why, how, they deserve answers, we all do."
Anyone with information is this case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 830-620-TIPS.
