SAN ANTONIO — Charges have been dropped against the man involved in a shootout with an off-duty San Antonio Police officer seven months ago.
On an evening in late May, 25-year-old Demontae Walker and Officer Dezi Rios exchanged gunfire in a parking lot following a road rage incident. Walker said things escalated after Rios cut him off while driving on I-10, but he was later taken into custody.
This week, a grand jury decided not to indict him on criminal charges.
