AUSTIN, Texas — A child died Saturday morning after a possible drowning in a pool at a Pflugerville apartment complex.
According to the Pflugerville Police Department, officers responded to the 1000 block of S Heatherwilde Boulevard just before 8:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a child possibly drowning.
Police arrived and saw a bystander performing life-saving measures on the child. Police assisted in trying to save the child until the Pflugerville Fire Department and EMS arrived,
The child was then taken to a hospital, where they later died.
