SAN ANTONIO — You and your family are invited to come out and help kick off the holiday season with a tree lighting ceremony in the Creamery District.
Santa will flip the switch to light up a 33-foot tree adorned with more than 8,000 lights.
The fun starts at 6 p.m. Monday at the Pavilion on East Ashby Place, just north of downtown.
Kids will be able to write letters to Santa and the whole family will be able to enjoy live music, hot chocolate and cookies, too.
Sing along with the Majestic Empire Foundation’s High School Carolers, enjoy the Hawthorne Academy’s Mariachi Band, and Diego Martinez & his Fermata Jazz Quartet. There will also be a DJ spinning all of the holiday classics for you to enjoy with your friends and family.
In addition, if you're hungry for more, area restaurants will be open.
Best of all, parking is free off of Highway 281 and Josephine Street, between The Pearl and Tobin Hill.
Head down to the Creamery and join in the fun!
