City of San Antonio's 'Pothole Patrol' on duty

This year they are looking to fix more than 10,000 potholes before April is over.

SAN ANTONIO — The City of San Antonio's 'Pothole Patrol' is on a mission to shape-up our streets. This year they are looking to fix more than 10,000 potholes before April is over.

All it takes is a short call.

It’s simple: just call 3-1-1. That is the city’s customer service hotline.

You can use it to report a number of things. But this month, the city is specifically looking for potholes.

More than 10,000 in fact. That’s the goal the city’s public works department wants to hit.

Last year, residents made more than 4,600 calls to the city’s 3-1-1 hotline.

This led to more than 300 potholes being fixed daily by the pothole patrol.

A phone call only takes minutes to do, and each pothole only takes 20 minutes to repair.
