SAN ANTONIO — Jury selection is underway in the civil lawsuit against Andre McDonald over the death of his wife, Andreen, in 2019.
The Air Force Major admitted to killing his wife and was found guilty of manslaughter in 2023. Initially, he was charged with murder, but during his trial, his lawyers argued that he killed Andreen in self-defense. He also admitted to mutilating her body and attempting to hide the body in a field. A jury took two days to decide on a guilty verdict. He was also sentenced to an additional five years for tampering with evidence.
The Davis Law Firm is representing the Andreen's family in the civil case. The law firm claims Andreen's daughter has sustained innumerable damages after the loss o fher mother.

"We are committed to proving to a Bexar County, Texas Jury that Andreen's daughter has sustained innumerable damages and that even after the loss of Andreen -a beloved daughter, sister, and mother - justice can and will be found in a San Antonio, Texas, courtroom."
