BEAUMONT, Texas — Those adverse to snug spaces may wish to shy away from a video posted by Beaumont Animal Care, where a brave employ dove into a storm drain to save a kitten.

In a Facebook post, Beaumont Animal Care says that they received an urgent call about a kitten trapped in a storm drain at Lamar University Friday.

Luckily the small kitten had a much larger voice and a passersby was able to locate it and call for help.

According to Beaumont Animal Care, ACO Moore arrived on the scene and quickly began assessing the situation.

They first attempted to lure the kitten out of the drain but it wouldn't budge, so without hesitation Rescue & Volunteer Coordinator Kylie decided she was going in after it.

In the video Kylie can be seen calmly shimmying through the cramped quarters, shoulders touching each side of the pipe, with a flashlight in one hand and the kitten in the other.

Then Kylie finally emerges from the drain covered in dirt, leaves, and spiderwebs. Victoriously crawling out with the kitten in tow.

"The kitten is now in foster care and being bottle-fed as she's not yet able to eat on her own. If you’re interested in adopting this little fighter once she’s ready, please submit an adoption application," said Beaumont Animal Care in the post.

The adoption application can be found here.
