BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A construction worker has been shocked in the Fair Oaks area after touching a metal trailer, authorities say.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, a 30-year-old man touched a metal trailer that was contacted by a live electrical wire.
Contractors working onsite were removing wire at the time, at which point the "wire broke, remained active and charged up the trailer after contacting it."
This caused the worker to be shocked, but responsive, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, BCSO says.
