SAN ANTONIO — One person has died after driving into oncoming traffic and crashing on the northeast side Friday night, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident occurred on the 6500 block of Gibbs-Sprawl Road around 8:00 p.m. Friday.
Police say a driver of a sedan veered into oncoming traffic before striking an SUV. The sedan then drove into the embankment of some railroad tracks.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
