SANGER, Texas — Two people were sent to the hospital after a small plane crashed into a tree in Denton County Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. when the aircraft was returning to Bar V K Airport near Merlin Drive in Sanger.
The conditions of the people aboard the single-engine Boeing Stearman E75 were not immediately released. Authorities have not yet identified the pilot and passenger.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the crash.
