DREAM COME TRUE: Texas woman wins one-year supply of Dr Pepper

She was the last of three winners to receive the prize as museum personnel were driving across Texas to the winners’ homes this month.

TYLER, Texas — It's many Texans' dream come: a year's supply of Dr Pepper!

An East Texas woman was one of three lucky winners to win the prize back in May during a drawing at the Dr Pepper Museum’s Birthday Bash. On Friday, crews from the Waco-based museum delivered the one-year supply of Texas' favorite soda to Hannah Hernandez's Tyler home.

If you're wondering what a year's supply of Dr Pepper equates to, turns out that means Hernandez received 32 12-packs!

The other two winners were Larry Salazar from Waco, who also won the prize through the birthday bash drawing, and Pilar Torres from Corpus Christi, who was chosen on July 19 through an online submission pool of over 27,000 entries.

According to the museum, Keurig Dr Pepper in Waco gave over 90 cases of cans, which equals to one can per day for a year for three lucky winners.

The museum has plans to pick three more winners in 2025. All guests who pay admission to the museum from now until May 2025 and complete the entry form in the museum will be eligible to win the big prize, the museum announcement read.

Other winners will be chosen from guests who attend the museum’s 34th Birthday Bash next year.
