SAN ANTONIO — A driver was rescued from high water in a creek on the northwest side of San Antonio, officials said.

The driver of a white sedan became trapped in rushing water around 4:30 p.m. off Sleepy Hollow, near Huebner and Vance Jackson. Video showed the flood guage at the creek was about 1.5 feet. Storms were reported Friday afternoon, bringing heavy rain to the west and northwest parts of the city.

Eventually, a tow truck arrived and pulled the car out of the high water. No injuries were reported.

This is a developing story and further details will be added as they are received.
