Earth Burger, an all veggie burger stand that opened in 2014, opened a second location Monday.
It is located at 2501 Nacogdoches Road on the northeast side, in a building that was formerly a Church’s Chicken.
Earth Burger’s menu ranges from fish-less sandwiches to grilled chik’n protein wraps, BBQ sandwiches and their signature Earth Burger. All meals are made with nutrient rich, plant-based ingredients, no hydrogenated oils and no artificial colors. Guests can add sides like fries, kale salads, apple slices and organically sweetened sodas.
Earth Burger's first location is already open in the Park North Shopping Center on Northwest Loop 410. A third location will open in San Marcos in July.
“All of us at Earth Burger are excited to bring another location to our family and friends in San Antonio,” owner Mike Behrend said. “Vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike will love our take on healthier burgers, shakes and fries.”
Earth Burger's soft-serve ice cream is made from coconut milk, and the drive-through restaurant has been completely plant-based since 2017.
