Electrical problem may be to blame for fire at an H-E-B, officials say

Firefighters were able to extinguish it quickly and nobody was injured.

SAN ANTONIO — An electrical problem may be to blame for a fire at an H-E-B on the west side of town that happened late Sunday evening, according to fire officials.

San Antonio firefighters responded to the H-E-B located in the 10700 block of Potranco Road east of Loop 1604 around 9:40 p.m. for reports of a fire.

Firefighters located the fire on the outside back wall of the store and were able to quickly extinguish it. Nobody was injured. 

Arson investigators will be looking into a potential cause.  

According to fire officials, some type of electrical problem may be to blame but they're stilling investigating.
