Police say a store employee was underneath his SUV in the parking lot working on mechanical issues when the vehicle rolled away.

SAN ANTONIO — An employee's car crashed through the front of a flooring store on the far west side Friday morning.

Police responded to the accident around 11 a.m. on Loop 1604 near Culebra Road at a Floor & Decor store.

Police say a store employee was underneath his SUV in the parking lot working on mechanical issues when the vehicle rolled away and smashed through the front doors of the store.

Police said the employee was able to get out from under his car to avoid being run over.

No injuries were reported.

Officials say the store will continue to operate with its regular store hours as repairs are made.
