SAN ANTONIO - One recent sign on the marquee at Camelot Christian Center read: "No fake news here, just gospel truth."
The church started drawing attention on social media after advertising its rummage sale in a clever way on the same marquee.
That sign promised that the church's yard sale would be "bigger than Kanye's ego." A tweet with a photo of the marquee drew thousands of likes and re-tweets.
Another notable sign read: "Honor thy mother and father, fear the chancla, don't forget flowers."
"We've been doing signs probably for 20 years, but recently we started doing some that are more current and up to date," senior pastor Stephen Corder said.
Jonathan Corder, along with his sisters, also works at the church and comes up with many of the sign ideas.

"I always try to do something that maybe everyone is talking about or something that might be buzzing on the internet," he said.
"There's always the old faithfuls. Like when it's really hot in the summer we could say, 'You think it's hot here?'" Stephen Corder said.
While the signs are entertaining, Corder and his family said they ultimately hope the unique catch phrases could catch more young church members' attention and encourage them to get involved.
