LA VERNIA – Thirteen students have been arrested in the connection with the hazing scandal at La Vernia High School. They are accused in the sexual assault of a freshman football player.
The attack was reportedly an initiation when he made the varsity team.
The family of the victim is now suing the school, administrators and the coaches. The family's attorney J.K. Ivey spoke on the phone with KENS 5 about the lawsuit.
