SAN ANTONIO — A family of three made it out of their home safely after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning, according to firefighters.
San Antonio firefighters responded to the 6300 block of Ridge Pass, in between Nacogdoches Road and Lookout Road on the northeast side of town around 3:30 a.m. for reports of a home on fire.
First responders arrived and found flames coming from the garage and also smoke from the eaves of the house.
They were able to extinguish the fire quickly and contained it to the garage. There was some smoke damage inside the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by investigators. Officials say the garage was heavily damaged.
No word on the estimated monetary damages to the home.
