SAN ANTONIO -- The family of San Antonio murder victim Daniel Gonzales made a public plea for information about the man who shot and killed the 29-year-old last October.
Gonzales was shot twice in the head as he tried to run away from the gunman outside the Westwood Plaza Apartment on Oct. 12, 2012.
San Antonio police said the suspect pulled up the apartments, pulled out a gun and then started shooting at Gonzales and two other men.
There are no suspects in the case, police said.
San Antonio Crime Stoppers is now offering a $500 reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest.
My son got killed for no reason, no reason at all, said Sandra Gonzales, the victim's mother.
Gonzales had five children.
He was a good provider. He was a good person with a big heart, his mother said.
