SAN ANTONIO — A driver is dead after slamming his car into a rolled over vehicle on the west side early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 90 West at Old Highway 90.
Police say a vehicle rolled over on the main lanes and another vehicle was not able to stop in time and slammed into the rolled car.
Police say the driver who slammed into the other vehicle died on the scene. The driver who died has been identified as Ronelle Antwone Robinson, 40. He died from blunt head trauma, according to the Medical Examiner.
It's unclear the condition of the other driver.
Highway 90 East bound will be closed for several hours while authorities work to investigate and clear the scene.
