Crews work quickly to end fire that started in apartment complex, according to officials

A fire investigation is underway and no injuries were reported.

SAN ANTONIO — Crews responded to the scene after a fire began at an apartment complex on the east side Friday morning, according to officials. 

The incident occurred on the 600 block of S. San Marcos around 12:33 a.m. Friday.

Police say one man will be displaced after a fire started on the second floor of his apartment. Fire crews were quick to stop the fire and the damage is estimated to be around $30,000.

A fire investigation is underway and no injuries were reported.
