SAN ANTONIO — A northwest-side home suffered severe damage after an early morning fire, according to authorities.
At about 12:42 a.m. Friday, the San Antonio Fire Department were called to the 9800 block of Autumn Star for a fire.
When they arrived, they observed a heavy fire coming from the homes. Crews immediately went into defensive operations and upgraded to a 2nd alarm.
Authorities say a woman inside was able to exit the home without any injuries. She was the only person inside at the time.
The fire caused severe damage to the home, according to authorities.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
