SAN ANTONIO — One person had minor injuries after a fire in a storage unit in east Bexar County Tuesday.
The fire started around 7:20 a.m. at the storage unit facility at 4510 Texas Palm Drive between Converse and Kirby.
Fire crews say one person suffered minor burns and was taken to SAMMC for treatment.
Officials say a crew member noticed the fire, which spread to three units by the time firefighters arrived. In all, five units were damaged in the fire. The fire reportedly started as one person was moving items in and out of the units.
The fire caused an estimated $75,000 worth of damage. The Bexar County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
