Firefighters rescue three from inside vehicles following head-on crash

Officials say that two vehicles collided head on, trapping all of the occupants.

SAN ANTONIO — Three people are in the hospital following a head-on crash late Friday night.

San Antonio Police responded to reports of the head-on collision just after 11:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of E Southcross near Highland Hills school.

Police say that forefighters had to cut the door off of one of the vehicles to rescue the people trapped inside. Two women in one of the cars and one man in the other all were taken to BAMC.

No word on which car may have caused the crash.
