Texas State Fish makes splashing return to San Antonio

Found swimming along the River Walk, Texas Parks and Wildlife posted a picture of a Guadalupe bass on their Facebook page.

SAN ANTONIO — Texas Parks and Wildlife officials say the Texas State Fish, the Guadalupe Bass, has made a comeback to San Antonio.

Found swimming along the River Walk, the park posted a picture of the bass on their Facebook page Monday.

"Working with the San Antonio River Authority, we've successfully restored Guadalupe Bass to this part of their native range," they said in the post.
