SAN ANTONIO — A call for a strange odor led to an evacuation at a pharmaceutical company near a hospital on the southeast side Friday morning.

The San Antonio Fire Department received a call about a weird smell at a commercial building on the 3300 block of Research Plaza around 5:15 a.m.

All pharmaceutical employees were evacuated and the hazmat team proceeded to investigate the building.
