BOERNE, Texas — Three people are dead following a head-on crash in Kendall County yesterday that had Highway 46 closed for several hours.
It happened Tuesday evening in the 500 block of State Highway 46 West near Boerne.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and deputies with Kendall County were on the scene of what they say was a head-on crash between two vehicles.
Troopers say a Ford F-250 crashed head-on with a Toyota Corolla. The driver of the F-250 was taken to University Hospital with injuries. All three people that were in the Corolla were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the three killed have not yet been released.
State Highway 46 was closed for several hours while officials worked to investigate and clear the crash scene.
