SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B surprised the San Antonio Public Library Foundation with various gifts Friday morning.
The San Antonio based supermarket chain gifted four local library branches with “surprise and delight” visits.
Executives from H-E-B brought gift baskets, balloons, and treats. They also presented the four libraries with a big $1,000 check and gift cards.
“We are so very excited to be able to support the San Antonio Public Library Foundation with $1,000 monetary support and $1,000 in gift card support for each of the 31 SAPL locations across the city!” said H-E-B Senior Corporate Giving Manager Kristina Leal Jewasko.
H-E-B officials said the surprise visits were not only to support the library foundation but to strengthen the partnership between SAPLF and H-E-B.
“The Library Foundation deeply appreciates this reinvigoration of our partnership with H-E-B,” Amy Hone, SAPLF’s Executive Director said.
