UVALDE, Texas — Two people were killed and two others were injured in a serious car accident that temporarily closed Highway 90 West in Uvalde on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
Sgt. Juan Maldonado of the Texas Department of Public Safety said that around 2 p.m., a white Chevy pickup truck was turning left onto Highway 90 from Dunbar Lane and failed to yield right of way as it was struck by another Chevy pickup. The man and woman in the white pickup were killed, and the driver and passenger of the other truck were hospitalized.
