Husband pronounced dead after wife finds him unresponsive in a pool, police say

At about 9 a.m. Saturday morning, a woman called the police after she found her husband unresponsive in a pool on the northeast side of town.

SAN ANTONIO — A 41-year-old man has died after being found unresponsive in a pool on the northeast side of town, police say.

At about 9 a.m. Saturday morning, a woman called the police after she found her husband in a pool located on the 5300 block of Maple Vista.

The wife said she went looking for her husband and found him floating in the pool. She called for help and a neighbor came and pulled him out of the water, unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. The investigation remains ongoing.
