SAN ANTONIO -- Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA is expected to announce plans for a San Antonio-area store.
This proposed location will be the fifth in Texas, according to the company.
Currently, the closest locations to the Alamo City include IKEA stores in Round Rock and Houston.
The company said in a media release Monday that it will reveal details about the proposed store, including the exact location, store size and an opening date.
That announcement is expected to come Tuesday morning at the Hilton Garden Inn Live Oak Conference Center.
