SAN ANTONIO — Investigators are looking into what may have cause a southeast-side convenience store to catch fire last Friday evening.
San Antonio firefighters responded to Lasses Food Mart located at the 2700 block of Lasses near South New Braunfels Avenue around 9 p.m. for reports of smoke coming from the store.
Fire crews quickly gained access to the store and building and were able to quickly locate and extinguish the flames.
Firefighters checked the remaining stores in the building for signs of fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No injuries were reported. The store sustained moderate damage from the blaze.
