SAN ANTONIO — Judson ISD is holding a special meeting Thursday evening where they're expected to choose an interim superintendent.
Back in November, Superintendent Jeanette Ball resigned to the surprise of many parents.
It's still not clear why she's leaving.
But Judson ISD and Dr. Ball sent us a joint statement Wednesday night.
Read the statement here.
It says they've reached an agreement that allows her to pursue other interests and permits the board to pursue hiring another superintendent.
That search will begin soon.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. Thursday night.
