SAN ANTONIO — Get ready San Antonians another skating rink has opened and it's the biggest in Texas, according to a Facebook post.
According to an event page called San Antonio Ice Rink by the Pearl, a large ice rink will be open to the public from Nov. 23 - Dec. 31.
The skating rink will also have trails of snow paved by a top movie special effects artists, the post says.
In order to participate in the fun you must purchase an ice skating session for $22 and if you choose not to skate a Winter Wonderland pass for $5. The website says walkups are unlikely due to high demand for skating.
The post says there are rideable dolphin skating aids for the children as well as a gingerbread house, Winter Wonderland Forest and more. Children ages 3 and under are free.
If that's not enough Christmas spirit there will also be hot cocoa and Christmas cookies available.
