Late night fight in convenience store parking lot ends with man stabbed, police say

It happened just north of downtown near the St. Mary's strip on Wednesday night.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed after a fight broke out in a convenience store parking lot near the St. Mary's strip late Wednesday night.

San Antonio Police responded to the 800 block of East Mulberry Street near North St. Mary's Street around 10:15 p.m. for reports of a cutting in progress.

Police say the victim isn't cooperating but they do have a possible suspect in custody.

The victim was treated by EMS at the scene.
