A crash on the city's southeast side managed to shut down all lanes on southbound Interstate 37 Tuesday afternoon.
The lanes were shut down after an 18-wheeler jackknifed in the area, crossing over the entire southbound side of I-37 just ahead of Loop 410.
Around 4:15 p.m. TxDOT was reporting that one left lane in the area of the crash would be opening, but commuters could still expect delays while crews worked to clean diesel spilled in the crash.
UPDATE: Left lane of I-37 at I-410 open. Crews repairing guardrail and cleaning mess on scene through rush hour. #BeSafeDriveSmart
