Music icon Diana Ross coming to Majestic Theatre in San Antonio for 2024 tour

Ross was the lead singer of one of the most successful girl groups of all time, The Supremes.

SAN ANTONIO — Legendary singer and actress Diana Ross will be coming to San Antonio for her latest tour in 2024, the Majestic Theatre announced on Tuesday. 

Ross will perform live at the Majestic on Sunday, February 25, 2024 as part of her "Beautiful Love Performances: Legacy 2024" tour. 

The doors will open at 6 p.m. 

Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 22. 

Ross is known as a national treasure and music icon. She was the lead singer of one of the most successful girl groups of all time, The Supremes. 

Ross has won various awards and accolades including the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012, a golden globe in 1973 for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in the classic movie "Lady Sings The Blues," and a tony award for her one woman show "An Evening with Diana Ross." Ross has also been nominated for a GRAMMY 13 times, received the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Honors Award in 2007, and is one of the few lucky artists who have two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - one as a solo artist and another for The Supremes. 

Ross also earned a Guinness World Record for having more hits than any other female artists on the music charts - with a career total of over 75 hit singles, according to her website. 

Ross has influenced music, art, fashion, television, film, and plays. Many artists have stated that Ross inspired or influenced their craft and creativity.
