SAN ANTONIO -- A Wounded Warrior is not calling it quits. He's disabled and a single father, but as fate would have it, he has landed a career as an actor on the small and big screen.
Karen Grace sat down with Bobby Lee Osborn to talk about his amazing encore career.
This Army veteran has shrapnel in his stomach and PTSD but one day he took a chance. He auditioned for a casting call he saw on Facebook.

I was injured in Iraq, he said as he pointed to pictures he took during combat.
While I was on the Blackhawk they reported that I was dead. They were hitting me with paddles, he said of his near death experience after surviving an attack. Then I woke up in the Kuwaiti Armed Forces Hospital.
After hanging up his combat boots, Osborn is disabled and raising his kids. Then on a whim, he went to a casting call. Now the rest is history. He has an agent and he keeps getting gigs.
I got a call on the movie 'The Song' that was filmed here locally, he said. I've never considered myself an acting guy. But it's really been a blessing.
