Man arrested for allegedly trying to rob two people during a couple's massage on Valentine's Day

Police say the two victims, a man and woman were responding to an advertisement about a couple's massage on the Nextdoor app on February 14, 2023.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police have arrested a man who allegedly tried to rob two people during a couple's massage on Valentine's Day.

Michael Loving, 36, has be charged with aggravated robbery.

Police say the two victims, a man and woman were responding to an advertisement about a couple's massage on the Nextdoor app on February 14, 2023.

According to an arrest affidavit  the victims were told to go to a Motel 6.

Police say the victims showed up at the motel room and were sitting down talking with a woman who had set up the advertisement.

It was during that conversation when Loving walked out of the bathroom with a handgun and demanded money from the victims, according to the arrest affidavit.

Police say the victim's left the motel room without giving Loving any money and called the police.

SAPD was able to find the advertisement on Nextdoor and were able to verify the woman's identify as Tori Arce with help from the motel.

Police say Arce was using the same phone number she used to check-in to the motel and the number the couple was messaging to setup the massage.

The victims were able to positively identify Arce in a lineup.

Arce told police Loving was the second suspect in the robbery.

Loving was booked in the Bexar County jail on charges of aggravated robbery.

Arce was also arrested back in March.
