Man accused of making terroristic threats, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio man accused of making concerning threats about a co-worker and the Muslim community is in jail.

San Antonio Police say the suspect is in the military but did not say which branch.

Police say the suspect mentioned slicing a co-worker's throat and shooting Muslim children and women in San Antonio.

Dong Jae Lim is facing a charge of terroristic threat. The alleged investigation stems from things he may have said and sent on Facebook's messenger.

Police verified concerning behavior from the 29-year-old through a person in his military reserve unit and an ex-fiancee. An arrest document shows he on messenger he said "Nope. It's like just thoughts. I see Muslim kids with rags around their heads. I know my targets, joking."

And the case that led to his arrest involves a new co-worker. Police he took a picture of the man without consent.

Police say Lim says he wanted to slice the man's thick neck, saying "maybe it will sound like a pig."

And he wanted to know where the man's son went to school to kill him too, police said.

Lim was arrested and his bond is set at $150,000.
